The reasons for my caution are numerous and include the following: 1.Many xbox modchip resellers are shady, and more than a few have taken pre-orders and not delivered products. 2.Xbox modchips are notoriously late. Often, unforeseen production problems arise, so I don't really fault the retailers for this, but nevertheless, it is normally a compelling reason to wait until the Xbox modchip that you're interested in is in-stock before ordering. 3.Until the final product is being shipped by resellers and tested in the hands of the public, it is unclear whether a particular Xbox modchip has certain hardware defects or software bugs (these creep up all the time when new Xbox mods are released).
